Compton Greenleaf Cooridor Improvement Project

Griffin Structures served as Construction Manager for the improvements to Greenleaf Parkway within the Southern California Edison transmission right-of-way. The two park sites, Mayo and Walton, included, but were not limited to, work such as demolition, clearing, grading, drainage, site utilities, electrical grounding, sign up-lighting, solar accent lighting, exercise equipment, site furnishings, concrete headers, walks, slabs and curbs, curb ramps, drive approaches, gutters, striping, asphalt base and paving, rubberized surfacing, decomposed granite paving, boulders, gravel, vehicle gates, bollards, fencing, signage, interpretive signage, monuments signs landscape planting, automatic irrigation system, and project maintenance.

Griffin's scope of services consisted of providing contract administration, testing and inspection coordination, documenting daily construction progress, managing team meetings, ensuring environmental requirements were met, incorporating QA/QC procedures, coordinating the RFI process, monitoring and managing schedule changes, reviewing and making recommendations regarding change orders, and processing all submittals.
