Griffin|Swinerton Selected as Development Team for Salinas Public Safety Center

The Salinas City Council recently selected the Development Team of Griffin Structures and Swinerton Builders to lead the design and construction of a new Public Safety Center in the City's Alisal Market Place. The new 74,000 square foot, $49 million facility will replace the City's 1958 Police Department headquarters, which the Department has outgrown. The new facility will be designed to accommodate projected growth.

The project marks the most recent joint venture for Griffin|Swinerton. The team has a solid Public-Private Partnership (P3) history, having partnered on several projects to deliver "concept to keys" public facilities that ensure the responsible expenditure of taxpayer funds.
