Transportation Center Parking Garage - City of Irvine, CA

The Irvine Station Parking Garage project consists of two separate projects in two separate phases. The first project and phase is the construction of a temporary parking lot that will provide 488 parking spaces as an interim solution for a period of 14 months. The second project and phase is a new 1,500 stall, 3-story parking structure that is being constructed where the current surface parking lot exists at the Irvine Transportation Center. The project is being funded by the FTA, the State of California, and the OCTA. The temporary lot is currently under construction and the scheduled completion date is June of 2007. Once complete, then the construction of the new 1,500 stall structure can begin. The new elevated parking structure is schedule for completion in the summer of 2008. Griffin Structures, Inc. has been retained by the City of Irvine as the Construction Manager for both projects. The CM services comprise of all aspects of schedule, budget, quality control, and ensuring the General Contractor(s) are in compliance with all terms of their agreements with the City.
