Mark G. Hoglund

Mark joined Griffin Realty in 1986 as Chief Financial Officer. During his long tenure with the organization, he has also assumed the title and responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Griffin Realty Corporation, Mr. Hoglund was an Economic and Financial Analyst for Lincoln Property Company, and a Certified Public Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Company. While with Lincoln Property Company, he was responsible for the analysis of prospective real estate acquisitions in the greater Philadelphia region. During his tenure at Arthur Andersen & Company, Mr. Hoglund served in both the tax and audit areas of public accounting, where he became senior representative for a variety of client assignments. His industry focus was real estate, including development, construction, and syndication.

Mark earned an M.B.A. degree in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and he received his B.S. degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He was awarded the George L. Bland Scholarship at the University of Virginia and received appointment as Public Policy Fellow by The Wharton School.

In addition to his real estate experience, Mark has also served in a variety of key financial and management positions in the public sector. His public service positions include Chief of Staff at the United States Interstate Commerce Commission, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer to Governor Pete Wilson when he campaigned for the Presidency, Deputy Secretary for the California Department of General Services, Advisor to California State Treasurer Matt Fong, and Chief of Staff to the Mayor of San Diego.
